Myanmar National Sports Federations
Myanmar National Sports Federations were established according to Myanmar National Olympic Council Act ,chapter (7) , which was enforced as the State Law and Order Restoration Council’s Act (6 / 93) on 19th April ,1993 . There are altogether (36) Myanmar National Sports Federations . The roles and functions of the Myanmar National Sports Federations are ,to nurture outstanding and new generation athletes ,to organize local sports competitions ,to select and to train top athletes from the various sports diciplines, to affiliate officially with the International Sports Federations, to organize and to compete in the International Sports Competitions , local sports competitions and in the regional games and competitions.
